Orchid Cityhomes
These certified rowhouses, 2 of the first 3 LEED for HOMES Platinum projects in Portland, are each a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home with a dramatic 2-story central space that collects the great Oregon sky and are united around a shared, landscaped courtyard.

Line 14
Located in the Hawthorne neighborhood of Portland, this project reshapes an existing house into a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home and incorporates a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath accessory dwelling. Two simple shed forms create interior spaces oriented to distinct outdoor living areas, and feature separate entrys, a converted carraige house for bicycle parking, and rainwater harvesting.
West Hills House Remodel + Addition
Some early photos from the nearly complete West Hills House project. This 1949 ranch home located in the west hills of Portland was transformed into a collection of spaces for the Owners focused on a central outdoor courtyard and views of the Cascade Range. More images to come after completion.
Stilt House Remodel + Addition
One of the early stilt houses in Portland, this home’s update and expansion creates spaces framing the views of downtown Portland and the ever-reaching landscape to the east.
SW Hills Construction
This construction project is an architect’s own residence. Situated on an up-slope lot, the finished home will command views to southwest Portland.
Columbia River Residence
Located off one of Washington state’s early historic highways, heritage trees create a dramatic setting for this new home. This design | build project will feature several sustainable practices including a geothermal heat pump using energy supplied by an existing well.
